Get involved in one of our many community service projects

Cancer has affected Robinson church members and families and friends of church members. The church's 2006 Relay for Life Team is off and running for this year's fundraising event on October 7 - 8, 2006. Our team includes Steve & Judy Jones (co-captains), Haley Jones, Cam Anderson, Meredith Dibrell, Tucker Mueck, Tracy Mueck, Diana Newton, Shelli Sellers, Sami Peyton, Debbie Gaines, Brandon Rogers, and Irene Dauphin. Also see any individual team members in person if you'd like to purchase a Luminaria In Honor of or In Memory of someone in their battle against cancer.

MISSION WACO SCHOOL SUPPLY STORE
Each year at the beginning of the school year (July-August), low income families are invited to shop in the Mission Waco school supply store for their children to have supplies to return to school. All supplies are sold at 20% of retail cost. Donations for new school supplies are needed to stock the store. Please take the opportunity to help in this wonderful ministry to the community. Click here to go to the Mission Waco web site for a list of supplies needed. There will be a box in the foyer for donations.

We need volunteers to help with meals for Habitat workers. See the sign
up sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer. See Mark Hines for questions.
Some time ago our church committed to providing a monthly meal for volunteer workers at Habitat. This can be a one-time thing or a person willing to organize the dinner each month. You will not be out the cost of the meal. You would buy the food and be reimbursed your cost, or other arrangements can be made with Jamie Stillwagon in the church office. Your responsibilities would include planning the meal and taking it to the site with paper goods (available from the church). If you are interested in being part of this service, please see Mark Hines.
